My new home...

So I'm finally in Seattle now, just got settled in to my apartment even though I'm waiting on a few more boxes of stuff to come in. I have a bunch of artwork I did before graduating to add to my gallery here that I just haven't gotten around to, but I haven't really done anything new besides that what with the cross country move and all. I'm really liking the area around here already, cloudy, rainy, but with ridiculously mild weather. I've been so busy filling out my apartment that I haven't had much of a chance to explore the city yet, but I'll get around to it when I have the chance.

As for the job market, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I snag something good, and I'll keep everyone updated as it goes.

Hey you! congrats on the move! i hope all is going well for you, i checked out your website and i must say awesome work! im jealous and i want to kill you and steal your talent and merge it with mine to make a omega ultranova thingy with it. anyway good luck in the field! i'll be on my way out to the real world in about two weeks so keep me updated if you find anything! oh and btw if you haven't heard thru the grapevine I'm getting married :D so if you can... leave october 18th 2009 open :)

Yeah you're mom told me about the wedding, grats hun! I'm not positive if I'll be able to make it or not, though I am going to try, it's just that I don't know where I will be job wise then. I've heard back from a place about stuff, got some good feedback but I'm going to leave it at that til I know more, don't want to jump into thinking it's more than it is, but other than that I haven't found anything quite yet. I hope your emergence into the real world goes well, congrats on graduating :P

^^ glad to hear you got a response from somewhere! I'm stuck in my graphic design job at plumber's choice and boy are they F-ing me over. my benefits for me and Marc is 80 bucks a week out of my paycheck.... so I'm pretty pissed and on top of that they won't give me a raise b/c of my benefits. and well the 3 game studios around here have just laid off A TON of artists so the job hunting in my area sucks. and i can't go look outside of the state until after the wedding. So it seems I have to put up with this crap for another 8 months. but hey at least i don't ever have to go back to that school!
